Managing Locations

Adding a Location

Add a location by heading here or using the “New” menu in the side bar. You can also choose to add a location during station onboarding which is described in the Charger Onboarding guide.

The onboarding form requires basic address details, you can then optionally enter some additional information such as the opening hours, facilities, and a contact number. These are all used for public charging so drivers know what to expect at the location.

Note the location must not have any charging stations associated to it when being deleted. The stations must either be moved to a new location or deleted. More details on how to do this can be found in the Charger Management guide.

Sub Locations

Sub locations can be used to further group charging stations within a location. A typical use case would be a multi story car park where each floor is a different sub location.

To create or edit a sub location head to the location settings tab and select the “Load Balancing” menu item.
