Step 1: Once you’ve been invited to use the Switch Charge app by your operator, you should see an email from us in your inbox with your unique invite code. Contact your operator incase you do not have this email yet.
Step 2: Download the app and use this code to start creating your account. Use the same email as the one where you received the invite code. Remember to use a secure password.
Step 3: After your account is successfully created, you can login and start using the app right away.
Switch Charge helps you by finding the charging stations that are managed by your operator.
You can use the app to find information about the charging station such as opening hours, current status, and a lot more. You can use the app to navigate to the charger and even see some real time traffic information.
You can also see information at the connector level such as connector types, their current status, power, and more.
At the charging station, you can unlock the cable, initiate your session as well as end it from the app without needing an RFID card.
While starting your session, you can link a vehicle as well as tag the session as business or personal.
The app keeps a detailed record of all your charging sessions at the stations managed by your operator.
This also includes sessions that were not started by the Switch Charge app in case you are using other authorisation methods in parallel.
