Tested Charging Stations

While the Switch Platform is compatible with any OCPP 1.6 or OCPP 2.0.1 charging station there is still sometimes some difference in interpretation of the protocols. This is why we extensively test the Switch Platform against as many charging stations as we can using these protocols.

Testing is done at dedicated testing events such as the Open Charge Alliance’s (OCA) Plugfest events, with the OCA testing tool, with manufacturers directly, with test labs such as P3, Dekra, and Hubject, and with the Josev charger operating system.

The Switch Platform is certified by the OCA for its OCPP 2.0.1 implementation meaning you can have absolute confidence in the operation of any 2.0.1 charging stations.

Switch Approved stations are guaranteed to work seamlessly with the Switch Platform and allow operators to take advantage of the advanced features offered by OCPP 2.0.1 such as;
