Some charging station vendors only support firmware management through their own systems in which case they should be contacted for firmware updates.

Uploading firmware to the Switch server
Head to a charger settings page and find the Firmware tab. Then click “Manage firmware” to see the list of uploaded firmware files. Here you can delete files from the server or upload new ones with the “Upload firmware” button.
Use this form to upload a firmware file. Optionally you can specify the charger vendor name for organisational purposes and a signature and signing certificate if you want to perform a secure firmware update.
Head back to the charger settings firmware tab and select “Update firmware” to see the following screen.
Select from the list of uploaded files and optionally “Show advanced options” to add instructions to the charger for when and how to download and install the firmware.

Switch currently supports FTP for the transport of the firmware file to the charging station. Support for HTTP, HTTPS, and FTPS will come soon.

The firmware settings page will now show a list of the firmware update attempts and their live status. Head to the message logs page to see more detail.
