Managing Drivers

Add a driver

New drivers can be added here or with the “New” button on the side bar.

• The driver name can be their full name or a nickname, if using a full name it’s best to ask the driver permission in line with GDPR.
• The email address should be entered if you are intending to use the Switch Charge mobile app. This is the email that their app invitation will be sent to.
• The custom label can be used however you like, this can be an employee ID, a nickname, or any other label which is useful in your reporting
• Authorisation methods depend on how you expect this driver to authorise themselves. More information on authorisation methods is outlined below

You can also add drivers in bulk using the CSV template provided. The same fields as above are supported in the CSV bulk upload.

Edit a driver

Once a driver is created they get their own overview page where you can see their details and all charging sessions that they have started using one of their authorisation methods.

The driver can be updated using either the 3 dots or the Add token button in the top right

Delete a driver

Deleting a driver can be done using the three dot menu in the top right of the driver details page.
